Sleep diary

When it helps: When sleep is the problem and you want to see the pattern instead of misremembering it.

When it doesn't: It isn't a treatment on its own: it's a map. What the map shows, we read together.

A sleep diary turns “I slept badly” into something you can actually see: patterns across a week or two that any single night hides. Fill one in each morning; after ten days or so, bring it in and we’ll read it together.

A few sleep-hygiene basics, if you want somewhere to start:

Fill it in each morning, not at night. After ten days it starts to say something a single rough night hides.
