Vlad Munteanu

Clinical psychologist & counselor

I have been a psychologist for fifteen years. I have worked in the UK, the Netherlands, and Romania, with clients from all over Europe: children, adolescents, and adults, including many neurodivergent people. The way I work is easy to describe and hard to find. You talk, I listen, and from there things start to get better.

Most of my work takes a few months, not a few years. Long enough to get to the root of what brought you in, and to sort it out. When I am not in the office, I am working on my second master's degree. It turns out psychologists never quite escape the question of what they want to be when they grow up.

Currently accepting clients. Getting-to-know conversations happen on Tuesdays.

How working together goes

We start by getting to know each other: a free conversation of twenty to thirty minutes, no obligation in either direction, to see whether we fit. If we do, we meet weekly or fortnightly, online or in person. Between sessions there is the tools library: when something from a session is worth taking home, I'll send you the link.

What clients say*

Your therapy is not my marketing strategy

"He asked what I was feeling. Turns out 'stressed' was hunger, anger, and one unsent text. We deleted the text."

Delia, 34, hydrated and unsubscribed

"He taught me that 'let me think about it' is a complete sentence. My in-laws are furious."

Radu, 41, still thinking about it

"Turns out everyone at the gym is looking at themselves. Everyone. Everywhere. Always. Huge news."

Cristi, 28, finally using the squat rack

* These testimonials are invented. Real ones would be an ethics problem. Asking clients to advertise their therapy is not something a therapist should do. The invented ones are funnier anyway.
