Fees
A session is 400 RON (50 minutes). I keep a limited number of reduced-fee places; if the standard fee is the thing standing between you and therapy, say so when we're getting to know each other and we'll talk.
Therapy shouldn't be a luxury good, and a practice that only reaches people who can afford it without effort sees a narrower slice of the world than the one I want to work with.
Online or in person
Both. In-person sessions happen at the practice; you get the address when we schedule. Online sessions run on Zoom: no account needed, the link arrives before the session, it works on a phone or a computer. Online therapy is not a lesser version; for some people and some seasons of life it is simply the workable one.
The first session
Mostly talking, no forms on the table. You tell me what brings you, in whatever order it comes out. I'll ask questions to make sure I understand. Toward the end we agree on a rhythm, weekly or fortnightly, and on what we're aiming at, even loosely. Nothing is locked in; everything can be revisited.
Cancellation
Life happens. Cancel or move a session up to 24 hours before it and nothing is owed. Inside 24 hours the session is charged, because the hour was held for you. If something genuinely exceptional happens, tell me; I'm a person before I'm a policy.
Confidentiality, in plain language
What you say in session stays in session. The exceptions are the ones the law and ethics require, and you should know them up front: a serious, imminent risk to your life or someone else's, abuse of a minor, or a court order. In those cases I act to keep people safe, and wherever possible I tell you first. Everything else, including the fact that you are in therapy at all, is yours. The full detail is in the contract, readable before we ever meet.
Short questions
Is therapy for me?
The honest answer: try a getting-to-know conversation and find out. There's no symptom threshold you need to clear. "Things are mostly fine but something keeps not being fine" is a perfectly good reason.
How do online sessions work?
You get a Zoom link, you open it, we talk. Use headphones, find a room where you won't be overheard, and that's all the technology required.
How fast do you reply?
Within 3 days, by email. I don't do crisis response. If you need help now, the crisis page has numbers that answer immediately.
